Hi, I am handling a debt recovery on behalf of my son and daughter-in-law who are overseas.
They rented their property out and the tenants stopped paying. The tenants were evicted and we have a court order with the Dandenong Magistrates Court for the tenant to pay by installments. However the tenant still is not paying the debt.
Can you help me in this case? What are my options. I don’t want to keep having to go back to court.

My father loaned a family freind $300,000 in 2007. The money hasn’t been paid back and since my father passed away in December last year he has stopped paying interest.We have contracts and my dad even tried to get the bank to carry the loan while he stood guarantor but as my father has now passed that has to be paid out and the debt now sits back with us. The contract said that if anything was to happen to my dad this guy would owe the estate. Is there anything I can do?

I am owed in excess of $5000 dollars, the person started to pay this amount when it was initially $6,000, but stopped after 3 payments, and now will not return calls. I have tried mediation through the sheriffs dept, and have all correspondance on email.
